A WARRIOR is one who fights in battle and has courage and skill…someone who is engaged in struggle or some kind of conflict.
And whether it feels like it or not, you are a warrior, too.
If you’re involved with any action or person, narcissist (partner/spouse/parent/boss, etc.) and you are fighting to bring normalcy and peace back into your life, then you definitely qualify as a warrior. I put my own twist on the definition, which you may have seen or heard me mention before:
“The Way of the Warrior 2021”:
The lifestyle of a person who has fought the battle of narcissistic abuse and arose as a newly empowered person— the same, yet totally transformed. They recognize that recovery is not something you do for a few months or a few years, but a way of life that optimizes your connection with your authentic self…the person you were born to be. Warriors have released all self-defeating attachments and feel comfortable in their own skin. They set boundaries in their relationships and put their own self-care first, thereby bringing back the sweetness of life and experiencing the exhilaration of inner growth.”
Don’t worry if you’re not quite there yet. I have faith you will arrive there…and I’ll be here for you, into 2021 and beyond.
To help you and to believe in you when you don’t believe in yourself.
